Leap Day Devotional from Pastor Clark
Ezekiel 34:26 “And I will make … the places around My hill a blessing. And I will cause showers to come down in their season; they will be showers of blessing. (NASB)
Once every four years we get the opportunity to “correct our calendar” so the seasons make sense and we call it “Leap Year” and today is officially, Leap Day, February 29. When man makes edicts without the wisdom of God and expects the order established by God to obey – watch out! The longer the Roman calendar went uncorrected, the more “out of order” the seasons became – and the same is true for our lives. The longer we stay off course, the farther we are from our intended destination.
God’s design for His children is that every phase, chapter and season of our life would be “showered with blessing”. Maybe you don’t appreciate rain and getting all wet – but it’s hard to grow in a parched and arid desert. What God is raining into our lives is His goodness, His provision, His direction and even His course correction. What He gives is what we need – He knows the seasons!
We’ve enjoyed beyond measure the ministry of the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry and the outpouring of faith and hope from Jackson Senyonga so by now, I hope EVERYONE at Life Center is convinced of the purely LOVING motives God has announced over every life. Hang out in His presence changes us.
What a great week to allow your personal calendar to be reset and priorities re calibrated once again to God’s plan. Why not join us for the Encounter Weekend beginning this Friday at 5:30pm? Come to the pre-Encounter class tonight at 6:30pm Wednesday (tonight) and check it out. For sure – open your heart to the magnificent love of God that will never lead you astray. Let your heart “leap for joy” once again. You’re loved and appreciated. -Pastor Clark
