Christ Cool Kidz

Our Mission: To partner with FAMILIES as a pillar in support of the Truth to see Proverbs 22:6 through to completion in each child from Birth through Elementary School (Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it).

CCK (Sundays) Looks Like This: All children ages 1-12 years of age will have supervised, Bible-based instruction, play time and worship from the time check-in opens until the end of the adult service every Sunday morning. Additionally, students who attend from 8:45-9:15 take part in live music and worship training with Children’s Director, Christina Harris, in order to lead worship in 10am Services on Sundays throughout the year. Kidz Cellz (a developmentally-appropriate version of the Adult Weekly Cell) will occur every week from 9:15-9:45 for children ages 7-12, while the Preschool Class and Toddler Class teach Bible-based lessons through interactive play, worship and games. During CCK at 10am, Elementary students will have recess in the Gym, followed by KIDMO - an engaging, lively Bible-based video curriculum designed to help them impact their world in the upcoming week.

How will family be contacted in case of emergency? CCK uses an electronic Check-In system that prints out a "receipt" tag listing a unique number for adult and their child(ren). If at any time, the adult is needed for emergency or other reasons, the RECEIPT tag's number will flash and remain on the board in red in the Sanctuary. You may locate an Usher in the back who can direct you to your child.

What about families with Babies under the age of 1? You are welcome to utilize the Babyland Family Nursery on the Main Level located near the Sanctuary doors during the 10am Sunday Service. In here, you will find comfortable seating, flat-screen projection of the live worship service, and toys/beds/changing station for many of your child's needs. There is limited childcare on Wednesday nights for families signed-up for adult learning classes.

Sunday Morning Schedule for Children Ages 1-12 Years Old
8:40-9:15am Check-In Open UPSTAIRS for

Ages 1-2 Years: Toddler Class (Music, play time, quiet time, Bible time)

Ages 3-6 Years: PreSchool Class (Live worship/music, Bible lesson/crafts, Center play, snack and Gym)

Ages 7-12 Years: Elementary Class (Live worship/music, Kidz Cellz, Gym, KIDMO video curriculum)

9:45-10:15am Check-In Open UPSTAIRS

Ages 1-2 Years: Toddler Class (Pick-Up in Room 3 Upstairs)

Ages 3-6 Years: PreSchool Class (Pick-Up in the Gym)

9:45-10:15am Check-In Open at the GYM DOORS

Ages 7-12 Years: Elementary Class (Pick-Up in the Youth Center)

 

Wednesday Evening Schedule for Children Ages 1 Yr-5th Grade
6:15pm Check-In Open UPSTAIRS for all ages

Ages 1-3 Years: Childcare in Room 3

Ages 4+ Years: Spiritual-Development Classes, with Worship & Gym Recess time starting in CCK Room 1

BUILDING YOUNG WORSHIP LEADERS
During our new Discipleship Hour, children ages 3-12 are learning how to become worshipers, as defined in the book of John. Several students will then be taking their learning to the Sanctuary to lead the adults in worship on the morning of Sunday, October 9th. Bring your children to join us at 8:45 every Sunday morning so they can grow and participate!

FALL FUN FESTIVAL OCTOBER 30th
This annual event will take place following the Sunday Morning Service and will include Lunch for $1, inflatables in the gym, new games to play, and lots of candy. It is our chance to bless the children of our community in a safe and fun environment. We need many hands for this event, so please contact Christina Harris at 608-216-4276 or email christinaharris1111@gmail.com asap! As always, it’s completely FREE.
