Bread of Life Food Pantry

Evangel Life Center has always been Reaching Up, Reaching Out, Reaching Madison… and Beyond.  And the Bread of Life Food Pantry has been REACHING Madison!

In the last 2 years (2010 through Sept. 2011) we have served over 1600 families and 6300  individuals.  That is 800+ families and 3000+ individuals each of the last 2 years.  And the totals for 2011 could reach 1100 families and 4000 individuals.

With the ability to place a touch of Christ into each family as God brings them in, we ask each person if they would like to receive prayer.  The clients really like this and many are even brought to tears as God reaches down and touches them.  And through the course of their shopping, we have seen salvation, healing and some have returned later to say that they received a job that was prayed about.  That is an example of the goodness and love of our God.

Our clients are greeted by our volunteers and are personally walked through the pantry.  We even help them with the groceries to their vehicle.  It has even been testified that people leave the pantry feeling much better than when they came in.
