In this digital day and age where we can stay connected across the globe technically, why is it most folks are lonely and feeling isolated?? If an emergency happened at 3am, a crisis hit your life, what 3 people could you call that would welcome your intrusion and lovingly come to your aid? That’s what I thought. Welcome to Cell Ministry.
Establishing deep, meaningful, long-term loving personal relationships is the very heart of Jesus. He wants to spend eternity with us, yet we are rushing around in this day of disposable and discardable everything that we have forgotten the need for relationship. Face-time with God and face-time with people. As we at Life Center recognized our hunger for God, we also came to the understanding that Jesus told us to go and make disciples. Not go and have a big church. Not go and be successful. Not go and have events. He said” Go and Make disciples, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And lo I will be with you, even to the end of the age.” Wow what a promise that anything we do towards disciple making has his eternal backed guarantee!! What a Savior. What a promise.
So, since 2008 we have taken 257 adults through Encounter (Freedom) Weekends. The Victories of the Cross are forgiveness, healing, provision and triumph!We have 30 cell groups that meet weekly with over 167 adults sharing their hearts and lives in a small group living room setting. In addition,we have led hundreds of folks through our Discovery curriculum that covers every aspect of living our lives in freedom, love , the power of His spirit, all in context of relationship with Jesus and others.
